Kate WilliamsMaidenhead girl Kate Williams qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 following a successful training contract with Colemans and having completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London.

Kate said “it’s been a lot of hard work and the team at Colemans Solicitors have really helped me with their advice and encouragement. The experience I have picked up both through working for Colemans Solicitors and in gaining my new qualification will enable me to deliver a very high standard of service and ensure that I am able to relate to people and the problems that they may have”.

During Kate’s training she gained experience in Matrimonial, Probate, Litigation Commercial and Residential Property Law. She will specialise in Litigation Law with particular emphasis on property related cases. Her previous experience in Colemans Litigation Department will help her become a key member of this department.

Michael Stone Managing Partner at Colemans Solicitors said “we are totally delighted that Kate is now fully qualified. She has been a truly outstanding trainee and I cannot praise her enough. For us adding to our seven specialist solicitors comes at just the right time. Colemans are ready to expand and have noticed a fresh breath of optimism around Maidenhead.”

Kate went travelling in Thailand for a month before beginning her training contract at Colemans Solicitors and was bitten by the travelling bug, so one of her ambitions is to travel, in particular to South America where she would love to trek the Inca Trail in Peru.

In terms of hobbies, Kate enjoys running, going to the gym, horse riding and skiing which she learned to do whilst living near the French Alps on the Swiss border. Kate applies her competitive instincts to both her work and hobbies.
