Solicitor, Private Client

“Helping our clients to plan for the future by delivering clear and accurate advice is very rewarding, especially in such a highly personal and technically complex area of law.”

Sophie at-a-glance

Sophie was admitted as a solicitor in 2010, after having trained at Allen & Overy in London. She initially specialised in corporate mergers and acquisitions, and worked with exacting institutional and high net worth clients on complex and high-value transactions. After taking a break from law to work in education, she subsequently returned to private practice in order to specialise in Private Client law.

Renowned for…

  • Always having an approachable and empathetic manner
  • Understanding clients’ needs and providing excellent communication and support
  • Providing clear advice on complex and technical issues and drafting documents that achieve clients’ goals

Outside work

Sophie is a keen skier, a mediocre pianist and has a passion for hiking. She has completed a number of long-distance treks around the world and aims to one day tick off every National Trail in Britain. Sophie is currently on maternity leave having welcomed her second child in September 2020. We look forward to Sophie’s return to work in due course
