Captain Tom 100 Challenge – Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service26th April 2021 12:10 pm Comments Off on Captain Tom 100 Challenge – Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service
The Captain Tom Foundation is encouraging people to celebrate the amazing achievements of Captain Tom on what would have been his 101st birthday on Friday 30 April 2021. Everyone is invited to build on his legacy by taking on a challenge around the number 100, over Captain Tom’s birthday weekend.
Colemans staff members will be celebrating the extraordinary achievement of Captain Tom and at the same time helping our chosen charity, the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service by taking part in this challenge. This fantastic local charity provides vital support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire and the surrounding counties. Their mission is to be able to reach out to every child and family who needs them, offering support and care from people who understand what the children and their families are going through. You can find out more about the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service here: https://alexanderdevine.org/.
So, between Friday 30 April and Monday 3 May 2021, our staff are going to be undertaking all sorts of fun challenges, from planting 100 plants in their gardens, baking 100 cupcakes, to skipping for 100 minutes! We will then be hosting a cake sale outside our offices on Tuesday 4 May 2021 to raise some extra funds for a very worthy cause.
We are delighted to part of #TeamDevine for this event and we will be posting photos of our achievements on social media, so make sure you are following us!
